At Marvelous Kidz Learning Center, our Toddler Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. We focus on creating stimulating activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and social skills, helping your child reach important developmental milestones with joy and excitement!

Each day is filled with opportunities for discovery, fostering your toddler's natural sense of wonder and adventure. Our Procare Curriculum for toddlers nurtures the development of key skills that lay the groundwork for learning, communication, and lifelong success.

WHAT WE OFFER OUR ACTIVE LEARNERS

Building Language — Our American Sign Language program helps toddlers develop early communication skills, supporting both nonverbal and eventual verbal communication. This empowers children to express their needs clearly, fostering a nurturing environment where those needs are met by caregivers and peers.
Creativity — Our classrooms are crafted to inspire imagination. With age-appropriate learning centers, toddlers can explore music, art, early literacy, pretend play, and more, helping them discover and expand their creative abilities.
Fine and Gross Motor Skills — Active play is key to healthy development. Whether indoors or in our spacious, age-separated outdoor play areas, toddlers enhance their motor skills as they walk, run, climb, or engage in games with friends, celebrating each new accomplishment.

Safety

Clean Classrooms — Our classrooms offer personal spaces for each child's belongings, organized learning centers, disinfected toys, and child-sized sinks to encourage good hygiene.
Certified Teachers — Our staff are certified in Infant/Child and Adult CPR, as well as First Aid, ensuring a safe environment for your child.
Safety Guards on Door Hinges — Doors are padded at the hinges to prevent little fingers from getting pinched, ensuring a safe environment for toddlers moving between classrooms.
Regular Safety Drills — We conduct regular drills for tornado, fire, hurricane, and school lockdown scenarios to keep children and staff prepared for emergencies.

Security

Electronic Security: Coded entry systems ensure that only authorized visitors can access our facilities.
Hiring Process: All staff members undergo comprehensive state-mandated background checks.
Front Desk: Our front desks are continuously staffed, providing vigilant supervision and ensuring that only authorized individuals gain entry.
Security Cameras: Every classroom is equipped with security cameras monitored at the front desk, allowing owners and staff to observe activities throughout the day. Families can also securely log in to a password-protected site to periodically check on their child.

Meals

Children enjoy meals together in family-style seating.
Teachers closely monitor all mealtimes to ensure safety and encourage healthy eating habits.
Meals are prepared daily in commercial-grade kitchens, kept separate from classrooms.
Our nutritious meals exceed USDA guidelines, ensuring balanced and healthy options for all children.
All allergies are documented and managed by front office administrators to accommodate dietary needs.
Our facility is a nut-free zone to provide a safe eating environment for all children.

A DAY IN OUR TODDLER PROGRAM

At Marvelous Kidz Learning Center, our Toddler Program is designed to nurture every facet of your child’s development through engaging and thoughtfully crafted activities. Our holistic approach encourages toddlers to explore their natural curiosity, promoting growth in cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and behavioral areas. We focus on building communication, language, and early literacy skills, ensuring that each child grows into a happy, healthy, and active learner.

Brain and Cognitive Development

By the end of our Toddler Program, children will:

Develop a basic understanding of numbers, quantities, and concepts like size, weight, and time.
Recognize patterns and shapes, and begin to solve simple mathematical problems.
Gain awareness of different cultures, communities, and the world around them.
Explore basic concepts of how communities work and understand how events are interconnected.
Express their creativity through participation in dance, art and music.

Social and Emotional Development

Guided by our highly skilled teachers, each child will:

Cultivate self-awareness and understanding of their emotions.
Explore and express themselves confidently.
Learn to manage their emotions and demonstrate self-control.

Physical and Behavioral Development
